SEEK COLOR INITIATIVE

The SEEK Color Certificate Program is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion accountability initiative that encourages cancer care clinicians to pursue education and resources that help them better serve patients of color, with the mission of ending disparities in care.

To overcome the disparities in both cancer care and life, we not only have to see people for their unique, individual experiences but also seek them out.

• We must seek opportunities for inclusion. 

• We must seek education on differences in treatment. 

• We must seek to understand barriers that inhibit access. 

SEEK is about asking the tough questions, it’s about digging into and evaluating the systems that perpetuate inequities. We may not have all the answers, but we’re encouraging the cancer care community to seek solutions.

Clinicians participating in at least three SEEK Color workshops throughout the calendar year will earn a certificate showing their commitment to the mission.

Healthcare team members who complete the certificate will be featured on a searchable map so patients know who has invested in DE&I education.
