The 2026 Cancer Updates Year in Review: EAST Conference will feature educational activities designed to meet the needs of medical oncologists, pharmacists, advanced practitioners, and nurses involved in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, as well as lung, GI, GU and breast cancers. The program agenda includes presentations that distill the most clinically relevant information for application in community oncology settings. This two-day cancer updates program will be hosted as an in-person event only.

    • Examine scientific advances that further enhance knowledge of cancer biology and pathogenesis

    • Review recent and emerging data from key studies in clinical cancer research

    • Evaluate the role of new diagnostic techniques and therapeutic approaches as applied to the care and management of people with cancer

    • Implement clinical and scientific strategies designed to improve the quality of cancer care, as appropriate

    • Effectively communicate with colleagues and with patients regarding advances in clinical oncology science

    • Identify and utilize tools for cancer risk assessment and risk reduction based on the best available evidence

  • In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and Total Health. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

    Nurses (ANCC) Credit Designation

    Amedco LLC designates this activity for a maximum of 7.25 ANCC contact hours.

    Physicians (ACCME) Credit Designation

    Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians (ACPE) Credit Designation

    Amedco LLC designates this activity for a maximum of 7.25 knowledge-based CPE contact hours.

    NOTE to Pharmacists: The only official Statement of Credit is the one you pull from CPE Monitor. You must request your certificate within 30 days of your participation in the activity to meet the deadline for submission to CPE Monitor.

    American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) MOC Credit

    Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
